Ultrasonic welding principle





Ultrasonic welding uses  high-frequency vibration waves to transmit to the surface of two  objects to be welded, and under pressure, the two surfaces rub against  each other, thus forming a fusion between the molecular layers.









Welding system composition





A set of ultrasonic welding system mainly includes ultrasonic generator, transducer, luffing rod, welding head triple, mold and frame.  The workflow is as follows: the ultrasonic generator converts the power  frequency current into high-frequency electrical energy, and the  transducer converts it into mechanical vibration of the same frequency,  which is then transmitted to the welding head through the luffing lever.  The welding head conducts vibration energy to the joint of the  workpiece, and the friction generates heat, causing the material to melt  and join locally.
