Ultrasonic welding principle
Ultrasonic welding uses high-frequency vibration waves to transmit to the surface of two objects to be welded, and under pressure, the two surfaces rub against each other, thus forming a fusion between the molecular layers.
Welding system composition
A set of ultrasonic welding system mainly includes ultrasonic generator, transducer, luffing rod, welding head triple, mold and frame. The workflow is as follows: the ultrasonic generator converts the power frequency current into high-frequency electrical energy, and the transducer converts it into mechanical vibration of the same frequency, which is then transmitted to the welding head through the luffing lever. The welding head conducts vibration energy to the joint of the workpiece, and the friction generates heat, causing the material to melt and join locally.
Main welding methods
Welding method
The plastic joint surface is melted and connected by ultrasonic vibration, and the strength is close to that of the body.
Buried
Metal parts are embedded directly into the plastic holes, which is firmly fixed and efficient.
Riveting
Mechanical riveting is achieved by forming the plastic protrusion by hot melt.
Spot welding
It is suitable for workpieces that are not easy to design continuous welding wires, and perform point welding.
Molding
Plastic melt coating on the surface of metal parts to fix and beautify the appearance, often used in electronic component assembly.
Metal and plastic welding
The vibration of the welding head makes the plastic joint surface instantly friction and melt, which has high strength and can achieve airtight and watertight effects, and is widely used in plastic parts connection.
does not melt the material, good conductivity; low requirements for surface treatment; No solder required, clean and environmentally friendly; Welding is fast and safe without sparks.
Ultrasonic vibration is used to convert energy into frictional heat and deformation energy between workpieces under static pressure to achieve solid-state welding. It does not produce melting and high temperature, avoids splashing and oxidation, and is suitable for copper, aluminum, nickel and other non-ferrous metal filaments and thin sheet welding, commonly used in lithium battery electrodes, electrical leads, etc.
Fast speed, high strength, good sealing; low cost and no pollution; The process is stable, the parameters can be monitored, and the maintenance is easy.
Ultrasonic welding is characterized by high efficiency and cleanliness
It has become one of the important processes in the field of micro-coupling.
